Devon = Praise and Criticism

Just spend some time in Devon.
First for the praise:
We on the A303, and it was great.
I assume it was a 3 lane section, 'suicide lane' layout, with both sides of traffic having access.
It was then by the looks of it, made 2 lanes, however these were very wide lanes.
It is now 3 lanes again, however, the middle lane has been given to one side only, which alternates each mile. It works very, very well, and is also very safe
Simply overtake all the trucks, pull back in, by the time you have caught more of them up, its time for your overtaking lane turn again
Negative:
Silly Speed limits.
40mph on country lanes all over the place.
50 on wide, open fast single carridgway, I mean WTF?
On the plus side, didn't see a single scamera van
