Should be a straight swap for the Girling Type 14 anchors?
They look meatier than the ultralites, but still should be ~2KG lighter per side, and allow to retain the original sized discs and standard brake pedal/master cylinder.
Anybody done this? Thoughts?

Gave up trying to deal with hispec this time round. They were friendly but hard to get a clear answer from; after several weeks of emails and calls i got a partial diagram of the UL4, not the billet4 i was interested. I think they are too busy to deal with retail clients effectively.
Anyway, once i priced up a hispec UL4 260 upgrade with discs, pads and hoses, the price wasnt too far off the caterham ap kit, so the AP kit is in the post. I figure it will probably fit without too much hassle, its factory proven and has some resale value, so for the 200GBP price diff, worth it to me... but would be great if hispec could be a bit faster in responding or id have surely bought them.
Anyway, once i priced up a hispec UL4 260 upgrade with discs, pads and hoses, the price wasnt too far off the caterham ap kit, so the AP kit is in the post. for the record, AP big-brake upgrade was not quite so simple (or cheap) but nearly there...
the caterham AP lug mounted caliper didn't come with shims in the box, and according to the instructions, the caliper should clear the discs by 1mm per side. My calipers were offset 0.5mm on the inner sides, so had to find appropriate shims, which I found to be common with the 7/16" shims used in the austin healey brakes.
That done, the standard M/C brake pedal movement was too far for my liking, so the AP Racing master cylinder went in. Fronts locked up without the rears doing much at all... so then per the caterham parts catalogue, uprated rear pads to M1144 pads, and while they need to bed-in, it doesn't feel like its standing on the fronts anymore.
Now getting a PX-side front lock-up at the limit, so will need swap the tyres around and if that doesn't solve it, may need to corner balance it.
I will say, it's not grabby at all, and very progressive on the tyres I've got on, looking forward to next track day.
