I am looking for service parts for my run around which is a corsa D 2011 1.3cdti

The problem I face is this...

Euro CP and every other site, list MULTIPLE possible parts for my car.

Ie...

3 different air filters, all different sizes.

When I contact them to figure out what I need. They say I must first take the car to a mechanic, who will strip everything down ie... Fuel fitler, air filter, oil filter...etc and measure it then tell me the measurents so I can order it. Thats their answer to the question.

Surely if i give my reg it tells them my exact engine and therefore they can pinpoint exactly what parts i need? surely theres not lots of the same engine chugging around that take different fuel, air, oil filters???

I am going to do the servicing myself, but obviously I don't really want to strip all the parts off to measure them and then put them all back to then order them. Never had to do that in the past.

GSF is double price.

They also list things just as bad. For example.

Air filter 1 spec:
LENGTH 211MM
WIDTH 200MM
LENGTH2 212MM
WIDTH2 203MM

Air filter 2 spec:
LENGTH 212MM
WIDTH 200MM
HEIGHT 64MM

Why is filter 1 not showing a height measurement? and why is filter 1 showing multiple different sizes.

So confused frown

EURO CAR PARTS are showing:

Height [mm]59
Height(mm)60.3
Length [mm]212
Length(mm)212.5
Width [mm]202
Width(mm)201
Fitted Quantity 1

or

Height [mm]66
Length [mm]212
Width [mm]202
Fitted Quantity 1

Again filter 1 showing multiple different sizes. Also different to GSF sizes...wtf???

Try a different site which might give more clue, or look on your car to see what's fitted. Yes, it's entirely possible there's different options.

F'rinstance, Mister-Auto.co.uk gives two different 1.3CDTi choices - 90bhp and 95bhp. Which is yours?

For 90bhp, there's two different air filters - 203 x 211mm ("with pre-filter") or 206 x 290 ("standard fitting"). For 95bhp, it just gives the "pre-filter" choice.
Neither its 75bhp

PMSL.

D'oh. That's me...

There's THREE choices... 75/90/95. For 75, 203x211 is given as both "standard fitting" and "with pre-filter".
When I put my reg into the site you mentioned, it gives me many options.

10 air filters in total.

3 different sizes.
one with pre filter
one with standard filter
and one not mentioning either of the above. EEEEK!

Right, Just been out and managed to take the parts off. Completely covered in oil, but at least the car didn't need jacking up or anything to get the parts off.

The oil filter currently installed on it is:
fram ch10623ec0

The air filter currently installed on it is:
BLUE PRINT ADZ 92223

Looking at mister auto, it has the blue print one. My bad luck is its the most expensive at £20 odd. All the others are £4 and £6 FFS!. No doubt the oil filter is exactly the same ie.. the most expensive.

Hope now I can get these matched up.

Hope it helps someone else who has a 1.3cdti engine 75hp with engine code A13DTC.

bash the part numbers into autodoc , they list all the sizes and specs and alternate part numbers , then grab the part number of a decent brand and search ebay

You don't have to buy the exact same aftermarket brand, y'know.
The blue print one I saw is the only one available that is a different size to all the others. I cannot find that in another make!

Annoyingly, the part number i pulled from the oil filter when googled, comes up with totally different oil filters that state they don't fit my corsa! WTF?

I guess i will need to find time to remove it again and measure it all up. argh!

autodoc does work, i just looked

dont punch in the car details for now....just the part numbers you mention in the search box...up comes several brands ,choose a nice brand , check the dimensions /pic matches then off to ebay to search for that part number...or just order from autodoc
Unless im doing something wrong, it doesn't seem to work mate.

Try:

ch10623ec0

its eco not zero

something like mann brand is a good filter
Thanks that worked better.

But now it brings up 9 choices and the sizes are all different.

So it doesn't give exact like for like parts I could use.

I think its safer for me to just get like for like parts as to what I already have in the car. This cars seems to be far too difficult to find the exact parts.

So here goes..

CP4L was coming up the cheapest for oil, air, oil filter at £36.

Managed to find the same parts as to whats already in my car on ebay and the total comes to £36 as well. That includes 5 litres of genuine oil, unlike CP4L who was offering their crappy brand oil.

Seems good and will go for that instead.

Just need to figure out the part i need for the fuel filter lol.
