Anyone still driving a calibra v6?

I was looking at them again. Just wondering what to look out for seeing as they are a few years old now. Way back I had a j plate 16v in red which was part ex due to the head going porous. I don’t want an 8v or ecotech 2.0. So have started looking for a v6 version

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been out of the Vauxhall loop for 20 years. A former member of the vpcc with an original silk violet 16v mk2 Astra. I suppose like most cars it’s buy the best you can afford when they get old. Interesting what you said about the rear brake back plates as I’ve had a Jaguar set repaired and then hot dip galvanised. Luckily they weren’t rotted through. Similar to the Vauxhall rear disc with drum within for the handbrake mechanism
