Underseal- Modurstang
Discussion
Got my underseal done today, was there nearly 7 hours, its am interesting experience seeing all the bits taken off the car, and everything wrapped up, its a Big Job, but the care and the attention given to everything is perfect
very interesting day, also nice to meet Tom, Mike and Lee are the Best, it's not a cheap job, and I suppose a lot of UK Owners feel they should get it for free. But if you want it done with the best stuff and want a Top Job, then for me as it's a brand new car, and will be outdoors 24/7 and I want to keep her for many years it made sense.

Then you're in for a pleasant surprise 'cos it's WAAAAAY less than that.
Give them a call as I believe the price has changed since I had mine done.
ETA: actually, forget that. I'll come pick your car up, take it to Modurstang to be undersealed and return it the same day all for £900.
About £530 now I think Give them a call as I believe the price has changed since I had mine done.

Finding this a bit strange to be honest: I bought a 2005 GT with 53k miles a few years ago that was a year-round daily driver - the seller even tried to give me a set of snow tyres but I wouldn't take them.
Anyway no rust under it apart from the awful unpainted axle and the front A arms that literally rust before your eyes. Trouble with the A arms is the paint doesn't stay on so I'm not sure underseal would stay on - maybe it would come off with the paint?
Never considered undersealing my 07 GT500 or my current car: a '13 GT500.
Hate the stuff unless it's clear and not noticeable?
Mind you my GT500s never saw a salty winter road...

I used to have a 09 S197 and never even thought about Undersealing and every year at MOT time was spotlessAnyway no rust under it apart from the awful unpainted axle and the front A arms that literally rust before your eyes. But after reading all the horror stories and speaking to people who advised me to get it done, as its a brand new car and I want to keep it for a long time. If i was only looking to keep her for a few years, would not have bothered. But felt it make sense for me to get it done
