Hi,

Just a quick query around waiting times, if I ordered now any idea how long to get a car? Looking at the thread around the new 2018 model I wonder if there may be some new 2017 model year cars available actually 'in stock'? Anyone aware of any deals going on the 2017 model?

Thanks in advance.

I can get you a brand new one, what do you want?
Was looking for the V8 convertible, shaker pack (not sure what extra custom pack offers), black wheels, the bonnet/boot stripes, in either magnetic grey (preferred) or white. Preferred interior dark saddle leather.

Would be great if you can offer something new

Last news on M6G was that ford had between 3-400 in stock in the UK.

Auto verts being the least popular and thus likely to attract the biggest discounts.

Discounts are definitely around..... £3-4k off RRP seemed to be the figures discussed.
I think this would be around 5K off RRP but pre-reg and 17 plate.

Thanks.

If you do buy a pre-reg that's been sitting around a dealership, do take a look at the back tyres - line lock won't put miles on the clock, but it will knock seven bells out of the rubber!
Will do!

Keeps the car stationary whilst allowing the rear tyres to be spun.

There a quite a few V8s in Magnetic available with the Ebony interior. Do you want auto or manual?

They are all in the holding compound in Belgium ready to go.
Sorry yes should have said, manual please. I'm time limited on getting back on the one I've been offered so fast response would be very much appreciated.

No white ones? or different colour leather interior?

Appreciate your help with this!

Many thanks for your help but I think I'm going to go with the 37K delivery miles one.

Thanks again.

Have you seen stripes on a UK car, they don't go all the way to the edge of the bonnet, they fade out over the bonnet (I had stripes ordered then cancelled them when I saw them).

Easy enough to have them added after too.
Yes I noticed that, ok with that at the moment.

Now what exhaust do I need to get on it, is that standard system that bad?

Thanks for the feedback on the exhaust, sounds like the standard one will be ok for now.

The standard exhaust on my GTR was a bit of let down noise wise, changed it when going to stage 4 and it really transformed the car, realised what I'd been missing!

Picking it up on Saturday morning, 2 hour drive to go and get it, the positive of which is that it's a 2 hour drive in it to bring it home :-)

Picked it up on Saturday morning, 25 miles on the clock and added bonus finding it had rear parking sensors. How do you tell if you have climate seats or just heating and cooling ones?

Negatives, slight kerbing mark on rear wheel and scrape on inside edge of front wheel rim, must have been damaged taking tyre off. This was presumably an attempt to fix tyre pressure monitoring which malfunctioned within 5 miles of leaving garage - anyone else had this? Anyway to reset it?

Great car, exhaust seems a little on the quiet side when on the move but curiously better whilst stationary (blipping the revs). Haven't pushed it yet as so few miles on the clock. Find myself more than happy just trundling along cruising, seems to suit it's character. Had top down at every opportunity despite the cold!

Looking forward to getting a few miles on the clock and properly opening it up a bit.

Drove it to work again yesterday - top down both ways of course :-)

Quick couple of queries:-

For the first few minutes after starting the engine, it seems pretty rough as in shaking through the car - normal?

When trundling along around 1000-2000rpm range it seems to be hesitating / missing on light throttle - normal?

Thanks for your help in advance.
