Hi all,

"lend me your ears"

Im after a new daily, and now got an itch to scratch. I was looking at a Mustang, read the reviews when it came out, been car shopping for a few months, found a nice one, then ended up at BMW last night thrashing an M4 along the country roads.....(damn thats a nice car!)!!! Yup, falling back into old habits (owned 911 & M3 of past).

My main gripe is that I hate rattles, the only Stangs ive driven are rentals in the States - what are they like to live with?

Rattles aside, what are the other big issues - Coming from German fit and finish, id hate myself if I didnt like the Stang. I read that the AC can be a bit weak - and thats pretty much it. If so, its surely got to be the car to go for. Especially as ive just learnt about the M4 Crank Hub issues!

If not the stang, I may just end up back in an old porka. I do miss the modern comforts which would come with the S550.

Thanks for letting me vent and chew on your ears smile

Thank you everyone. It’s certainly leaning towards the Mustang now and I’ll scratch that itch at the very least. smile

I’m planning on test driving a Mustang next week - only issue is they are all so far away (closest is 2hr drive). So if I go look - I’ll buy!

I’ve now learnt the Mustang only needs a few choice mods to make it more of a B road blaster. I’m happy knowing it’s not the handling / performance of the M4, it has however bags of character and will likely entertain me everyday.

Royal wheels wheel and exhaust is high on the list
