So when you get your griff, it will have a variation of the Ford lump ?

My goodness me, that's a lot of money for a Mustang. Not the bargain they were any more.
The only good thing is secondhand cars are holding up well . So come trade in time, hopefully will go towards balancing it out. I. Have been looking but will probably keep mine, 1500 miles a year !

I don’t know absolute figures but have read the uk cars are detuned to meet emissions. Iam sure someone will pop up and confirm.
Not that I would do anything to mine, quite happy to keep the warranty as standard.
Made big mistakes in the past with the griff 500 !

RHD are de-tuned as the headers had to be screwed with to get around the steering rack.

For £1k though you can do manifold, intake and tune which you should hit high 400s bhp.
Blimey, that’s not expensive, just to have it, don’t need it. I will ask the Ford warranty department.

I don't think you'll get that for a grand fitted. That manifold is a bd to do.
Anyone ?

Are those front tyres 205 ? I had the facelift GT in the USA and it 205 all round !
I know they are stolen photos so maybe they are Uk rear lights with USA spec wheel and tyres ?

It was a nice afternoon today, so decided to take it out for short drive.

It was going really well to begin with, but after a few miles it completely cut out! Everything died. Not even the indicators were working.
I just came to a complete stop. Fortunately, it was a very quiet A road but, it was still a bit of a squeaky bum moment.
I couldn’t work out what the problem was. I did have the key in my pocket at the time, so perhaps the fob was activated by being sat on?

Anyway, I put the keys in the cup holder and started up the engine again. All fine after that. smile
No messages? Always put the fob is in the cup holder. However always have either a beep or a message if I have done something. It ain’t no TVR !!, I would get it checked out asap.

Thanks for the replies.

I don’t think any messages came up. I was more concerned with finding a safe place to pull over.

When I did stop, A message came up to tell me to put it in neutral before starting the car.

I suppose something could have popped up on the dash before it died, but I was not paying much attention. Too busy enjoying the ride!

I will keep the keys in the cup holder from now on. If it happens again, then there’s a problem.
I took mine out today to test for you and no matter what key fob button I pressed, held down would it do anything other than click to door locks. There were no messages, so for me I would get it back pronto.
