Only about a month to go on this, very very excited about this one as this was the first PC game i ever bought.

High expectations as the old one was just classic, but from the trailers etc it looks amazing!

Good to see they have kept the "oh crap" feeling in the game when you wander around a corner to find 3 mildly peeved Chrysalids

Just finished my first play through, Classic difficulty.

Overall it was fun (nice tense and challenging final mission) but am a bit disappointed, dont really see much replay value due to the linear nature and limited customisation options.

Still, have the originals to go back too

The best way to keep things simple is to not progress the game until you are ready, IE that priority research isn't that much of a big deal.

Just keep hitting the missions and building power, uplinks and satalites and you'll be fine.

Will be interestng to see what DLC will be coming out, whether it will be new content or scenarios etc.

In case anyone was thinking of getting the "Slingshot" DLC, hold of for a bit as there is an issue where it is coruppting all prior saves

Wow, just wow.

Now that is how to turn a game around, was a bit Meh about the initial game but this is excellent!

So much new stuff and without wanting to post spoilers there are a few nice nods to other areas of the x-com franchise.

Now where did my day go?
