Have to say I've gone from 100% yes I'm getting one on launch day checking info every day to .... mmmmmmmmm ......
Wish they had kept the name. I know there was never any chance of that but Scorpio was a good name. Xbox One X is just.... Crap...
All they appear to have done is confuse people.....
I watched the E3 launch live... It was rubbish. I was waiting for the killer app that would have everyone in the audience on their feet... It didn't happen...
Just seemed to me to be loads of games that no one had heard of from Indies.... One or two looked good ....
I guess their killer app was the Bethesda game ? Not interested in multiplayer ...
I suppose it says something when the bit I was most excited about was the announcement that original Xbox games would be ported....
I now have a bad feeling that this will be a stop gap for the next gen....
I have loads and loads of games on Xbox one that I need to play including Forza 6 as I came late to this gen party.... I waited until I could get a load of great games for not much more than a tenner.
So..... I'll give it 6 months or so and see what the score is. Disappointing but im not prepared to throw £450 notes at it after the lacklustre E3 launch ....
I have a 7 year old pc running a water cooled 2500k and GTX 970 that can still hold its own in the graphics dept. I'll stick to that and the one and watch developments.

Well here we are nearly 2 months from Microsoft's initial announcement and still no preorders ..... This has to be a mistake.... Everyone who is interested in the machine and has been since 'Scorpio' announced ready to throw there money at them....

Obvs Microsoft will be weeping themselves to sleep but in the absence of any new IP/real enhancements on Xbox/ANYTHING of note, I don't see the point. I really thought there'd be something revealed by now- an ace kept back to really drive up pre-orders before launch. Can't see that happening.
Completely open to purchasing if and when something (new) worth playing comes along so I wish it well. Shame.

Like when you play an old Xbox360 game on the Xboxone hasn’t it been enhanced by the developer to look any better than it did on the 360?
Don't think of it as having 'launch titles'. Think of it more along the lines of pc gaming. You know when you have a sub par pc and you want to run the latest title. You may spend hours trying to optimise all the graphical settings running and re running the demo after every tweak only to think ffs it still runs like shi*
Your mate of course has the latest 1080 card that runs everything at full detail at 12k... You hate him ....
This is the way Microshaft are going with consoles..... All games will be backwards compatible but will have enhancements for the faster hardware.... One X... Just like PC's now.
It will allow them to release tweaked consoles more often....
Well I've pulled out .... I know i'll hate myself later ..... Sticking with Xbox one. I can still have upgraded visuals on my destop if I really want although now days I really cant be arsed with the pc for gaming....
With my failing eyesight i'll just move a bit further away from the TV to get the 4k effect
