Player unknown battlegrounds Xbox thread

Seeing as we already have a pubg thread for pc players thought I'd start this up for new Xbox players.

Downloaded and had a quick game this morning before work, the controls will take a bit of getting used too.

Already have most Xbox players gamer tags from destiny but if you don't have mine it's dalzo .

Just got my first chicken dinner in duos!! A combined 19 kills between us , nearly 1/5 of the players lol

Just a few tips for everyone:
Controller settings set deadzone to 5 and sensitivities to 4 until you get to 8x and 15x change these to three
Don't press X to equip stuff, press start then do it from there it's much quicker.

Mark your landing zone and go completely horizontal until your over your target then go completely vertical and fly down

Mansion,school and military are the best for guns but are the most dangerous

Last few circles(generally 20 people left) try not to use vehicles

Aggressive tactics is also key imo,catching the winner of a firefight while he's low on ammo/reloading is easy pickings

First solo chicken dinner!excuse the sideways image.

Got down to the last 3 and was pinned behind a tree and another guy was in the buggy circling round, peaked out and burst the guys tires leaving him beside the guy pinning me down, the 2 of them had a firefight leaving me to take out the winner! Absolutely buzzing

Joined 2 random squad games and been team killed twice.

Had a few cracking games, highlight of the night was me and a mate both hitting insane grenade throws to take out a entire team through a window from 20-30metres away, pure luck but we killed ourselves laughing at it

Pissed off playing solo for some weapon to be using a car at the end circle.

Got to second with 9 kills, with 3 kills inside 30 seconds, final circle hits me out into a open field with no trees or cover what so ever, try grenading the buggy driver just doing circles,then stood up and unloaded with an m16 guy just u-turned and came after me, so annoying

Seems a lot better, I did have a little rubber banding

New first person perspective servers are tough!

Getting a win just about every night now, got 2 in a row last night.
a well organised team is so crucial, calling out where enemy are.

Got a solo win today with an absolutely hilarious kill.

Guy is camping a house, I've got a silenced m4 and silenced kar98.
Start taking pot shots at him, making him panic and he runs into a bedroom, I enter the house and shoot his door in and frag in, the guy then runs in a panic out the door, runs right by me then into the bathroom,opened the door and he start panic jumping and bouncing around,I let rip with the m4. Was absolutely hilarious

Lag all over at the beginning of each game, slow and clunky movement mechanics and the map is so big that you can walk around looting for 20 minutes only to die to someone laying in grass somewhere.

I prefer that in Fortnite you can go to a remote location, loot and still be in the action within 10 minutes pretty much every game.

Fortnite is definitely the more polished game,but the looting for 20 mins then dying can happen on fortnite too, it's part of the attraction of pubg in that it's more tense and you have to be ready for potential enemies everywhere.
