Hi all, just wondering if a T80 will be any good for PC2 on PS4? I know from the PS3 days and GT6 I could be much faster with a wheel than the pad. Have seen the T80 does not have force feedback, but I can get one cheap brand new, whereas even a used T300 or G29 is a bit pricey.

Would I be ok with a T80 or should I stop being a cheapskate?

Cheers guys, I saw the T80 was under a hundred quid so was considering it but will spend the extra. Looking at T300 prices they seem a bit out of my range, £250-300 seems to be the going rate. A
Though I do like the biking to swap the wheel, the Ferrari ones look cool but the F1 wheel only appears to be for the T500 which is well over budget!

What about a T150 or a Logitech G29?

Ooh, looks like a second hand T300 could be on the cards then, not that much more than a 150.

I’m down to a choice of 2 then, T300 or Logitech G29?

Thought I’d give a quick update, Curry’s had a cracking offer on the G29, £200 for wheel pedals and the gear shifter, picked it up this afternoon.

I love it! Having to learn it all again though, the Bentley in PC2 feels a lot more oversteery than with the controller, using the same setup. I also tried Assetto Corsa and GT Sport, did back to back with wheel and controller. Half a second quicker with the wheel when I’d got the hang of it, but I’m sure there’s more to come.

My only problem is having somewhere stable for the wheel. Currently I put 2 cushions on my knee and the wheel on top of them, nowhere to put the shifter so currently it still sits in the box. Can’t believe how bloody expensive a wheel stand is! So right now I’m looking for a sort of tall coffee table to secure the wheel to, eventually I want a playseat but got to get it past the Mrs first, she wasn’t too pleased I turned up home from work with a steering wheel costing the same as my old car!
