I thought I would try and inject some life back into GT Sport on PH by organising a test event to see if people like the idea. I also thought it would be a good idea if the chaps at “Half The Race Gone” on YouTube did a live commentary of the races for us as we are playing. You can see their channel here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCagKBcZxhT9Im-_I2...

The details:

The event: A two race evening using small upgraded hot hatches around two of my favorite circuits.

Sounds like fun, unfortunately I know nothing about tuning, I couldn't see anything about tyre choice? If you're short on numbers and consider running a standard class and I'm not on a late, I'd give it a go, put me down as a definite maybe smile

At a quick glance I guess the Clio would be my pick

Psn trevonick if you want to add me.
I forgot the tyres. I have updated them as Racing Hard. Im not very good at tuning either but I have the MINI set up ok with just everything a bit stiffer (rear a bit stiffer than the front).

I've not tried any road cars on racing hards, I can imagine they'd be a bit grippy! If I get on later I'll do a lobby with those settings, I'll put PH in the name if anyone wants to join.
Are you allowing shifters? It makes a significant difference to lap times in those cars.
I think its negligible when you have a race box on. Its just a bit of fun so I dont mind if they do give an advantage.

Thats odd because my Clio is quicker than the mini. Im using the mini as its new and a bit more fun.

I only seems to have your interest here so I will move this over to GTPlanet. You are welcome to still join though Lazybike.

That was a good event! Really clean racing and a good mix of cars, many thanks for organising.
Yes it was great fun (until my DC). You were very quick. Shame more people from PH didn't take an interest.

If/when I set up a Hot hatch series I will post a notification on here. Sorry you guys missed the notices, as there was room for more.

Pad or wheel, you're still just managing understeer.
I got my Mini to rotate nicely mid corner.
