So there's a new Need For Speed game coming in November.

https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/need-for-speed/need...

Unnecessary story? Yes.
Police cars? Yes.
Street racing? Yes.
Body kits and graphics? Yes.
Skylines, Porsches, Merc/BMW/Audi etc...

Standard NFS then, without showing any in game. It has got a Polestar in it though.

It's EA so they probably will find a way to microtransaction it. PC, Xbox and PS4. If it's on Game Pass I'll probably play it, looks like its Origin Access though, so not sure if it will be.

There is an app called 'NFS Heat Studio' where you can modify some of the cars, more added each week by the look of it.

Most of these games end up the same, amazing customization and arcade physics, will still end up buying it regardless!
Nice app, but on my Samsung S8, it eats battery life and the phone gets hot.

In that case I can't wait to fry my Xbox when the game comes out.

Is anyone playing this? It's generally pretty good, I've got a few issues with the film grain filter and blurriness of the graphics, and its crashed a few times back to the dashboard in the first few hours of playing it (Xbox One, not a One X). The graphics editor and paint options look good, much potential there. The police are aggressive at first, but you can outrun them more easily with an upgraded car. The only other issue is more on me than the game, being used to Forza on the controller and thinking Y is rewind (it isn't, there's no rewind).

This is reading a bit negative, but I didn't mean it to be, I am liking the game.

Metacritic reviews https://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/need-for-...

One other thing that may be me being used to Forza, as far as I can tell the drifting is done by either accelerating or braking when you're turning to kick the rear out. There's a setting for brake or accelerate. It is weird at first, in the first race you do there's no explanation or warning in the game that you'll be drifting off into the barriers instead of going round corners hehe I've set it to brake and I'm getting used to it now.

I realise this will be a silly question but it's the first NFS game in ages hehe is it free roam in single player?
Yeah, you can drive around where you want. The races are graphics in the roads that you press a button to enter. Similar to Forza Horizon/Burnout etc.

He's done about 10 hours playing the game so not everything is unlocked.
