The gameplay video says it's the biggest map vertically too, the mountain parts look like they make Fortune Island a bit of a hill . So, what are spring, summer, autumn and winter like in Mexico? The FH4 seasons were: a bit wet, sunny, a bit wet again and SNOW!!!

There's an off-road 911 is in the trailer. Is that a real off-road safari type car, or a standard 911 with mods in the game? It doesn't look like a Singer (classic or the modern off-road car they made)

The season changes will be weekly as on FH4.
The volcano is in the middle of the map, from the top you can see the whole map area in the game, and from just about everywhere on the map you can see the volcano.
The map will be shown on the next video in 2 weeks, unless they change their mind and say so on twitter .

Which version are people getting? I've always bought the top versions before, but with Game Pass there's the option of getting the base game on there and buying the premium bundle to get the same extras as the top version. Forza Motorsport 7 is leaving Game Pass soon (I did think it would be there longer)

I got the premium bundle to go with the game pass version. I'll probably book Friday off as I'll be at the Late Brake Show Tour in Manchester on the Saturday. I'm trying to avoid the YouTube videos from the channels that got a pre release copy and are showing bits of the game. I want it to be new when I play it and not thinking this is that bit from their video etc.

Digital Foundry are impressed so far with the game on Series X and S (they have the press copy of the first hour of the game, not the full final game)



When they get the final game, they do want to test how it scales down to Xbox One and if the PC version scales anything up further than the Series X. From this preview, I think I'll be playing it in quality mode.

Has anyone else had the pre order payment for FH5 paid out overnight?

Xbox tried to take the payment this morning, but it got declined and I had messages this morning about suspicious activity. I just called NatWest, got put through to fraud dept and they have cancelled the payment and card unlocked. So I think I need to buy the add on bundle again to get it. I'll check my bank transfers over the next few days for the £35.99.

The 103GB download last week was the Game Pass/standard game wasn't it, not any extras that might have been bought for the premium editions?

Edit. Just had a Microsoft email about the payment and I've changed the card, hopefully it goes through this time

Horizon 1 was a 360 game so I think it picks it up from purchased and played games in your profile.

The game will be playable at midnight on 5th or 9th November, depending on whether you got the standard game or premium with early access. It's a rolling midnight launch everywhere.
