Gameboy Colour IPS Screen upgrade?

As per title want to change the screen to an IPS one but there are so many options when I google it.

Anyone done it and have any experience with a seller? Or any recommendations on where to purchase a kit from?

Appreciate the feedback, will review the options as tbh i never considered buying a different device instead.

Son has started to play on the Gameboy Colour and the screen upgrades seem great, this screen is very dark and dont think it would be good to play on it long term.

Appreciate the feedback, taken the decision to save the money and look at just changing devices instead. It makes alot more sense then upgrading the gameboy.

This was going to be something temporary before he gets a Switch for his birthday but potentially he could just have this instead of a Switch. Going to look into this abit more.
