A bit more organised discussing Rules/Regs for the GT racing in here than it is on that poll thread!

I think I may have slight OCD... hehe

I personally think the F430 is pretty ste! hehe

My favourite at the moment would have to be the NSX though!

I agree with locking the STM & TCS off, even though i'm quite sure no-one uses it anyway.

Great racing last night & enjoyed the GT's afterwards. Great cars, just Stumpy being too quick again was the only problem.

Stumpy/Willo, I studied the reply of Mugello and got Mrs W to act as Clerk of the Course. In her (unbiased) opinion I don't not need excluding from the results, licence endorsing or even a fine. Again I think the Forza bumper view that I think we all drive with didn't help. wink

I'll post pictures of the case for the defense if you didn't save the replay. hehe

Edited by Muz_Wez on Thursday 25th September 08:02
To be honest, I'll stand as a witness for the defence.

I was behing you both and you were most definately side by side up the straight. I'm sure there was even quite a gap between you both, and then all of a sudden alan dived right, full force into the barrier.

It did look like a bit of a lag issue on alans side though, and it might well have been that you were not actually where you were on alans screen.

So no need for a fine I think, just down to Forzas horrible lag issues..

Either that, or somehow Idlewillo managed to transfer that "huge" spider over to alans Xbox, which in turn scuttled out of the CD tray and scared the st out of him! yes

Also a big sorry goes to Gruffy!

I'm sure I tagged him from behind a good few times last night. hehe

Updated the OP.

I was unsure about the bits in italics, if anyone has any objections to these please let me know!

Similarly, if I have missed something or their is something anyone wishes to add let me know as well.

How long were the Sprint/Enduro races going to be?

Does a 5min Sprint followed by a 30min Enduro ring any bells??

NSX gets my vote
ooh, i love a vote me hehe

hi all, is there a release date yet for Forza3, or if not any good info thanksthumbup

sorry for thread hi-jack you can PM if you want (nothing rude smile)
I was just thinking the same earlier!

From what I've gathered, the guys a T10 don't want to say when it will be ready as to not cause any upset when they don't deliver on time.. hehe

If it was me I would probably go for a release date similar to that of GT5 (Early next year I think).

I'm quite happy for whatever day if we are thinking of changing the days.. Other than Sundays, possibly Saturdays I'm easy.

Is this still going to be a weekly event?

Ok.. I was bored last nightcoffeeand did some long endurance races. Set up a race against the computer with a full lobby set on pro. Do we all know that you can only have the following laps for a race…..10lap – 25lap – 50lap or 75lap. Managed to get 17laps out of the Porsche around road Atlanta before needing a pit stop people were pitting from lap 13 to lap 17. Its a pity we couldn’t have a 30 lap race because I think that would really mix things up a bit with needing a second pit stop or not on some of the longer tracks, however think the format should be 1x 10 lap sprint race followed by 1 x 25 lap endurance. The nutter in me wants to do a 50 lap race but think that will be too long. Race time was approx 30mins but road Atlanta is a reasonable quick lap time. Think we should have ‘dry run’ for the endurance race and see what happens before we go for real. biggrin
Agree with all that 100% thumbup

I think that is where we went a bit wrong with the GTi championship, we should really have done a few dry runs and saved a couple of weeks finding out the didn't go up hills!

I'm up for a dry run just about anytime as I'm only at clients all this week. biggrin

Where was everyone last night???

Only Alan, Gruffy & me in, plus Stirling Lost joined us. Not sure where the other regulars were???

Sorry I didn't get back on later on that evening, I decided to spend some time on Tiger Woods instead.

Hopefully we'll back with a full lobby next week......
i got some good news yesterday so was celebrating and totaly forgot

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Great news mate - now maybe you'll start to remember which day of the week it is wink
laugh

Good news, glad it's healed!

Sorry I didnt make it last night, didn't spot the thread until later in the evening.

I don't think this has been introduced to this thread yet, but what is everyones view on shifting the racing to a Thursday night to accomodate a couple more guys (Matt for one) and get a fuller lobby?

I have no problems with this as I can make just about any evening about this time of year and I think Muz has also said he could make a Thusday, but obviously we cannot speak for the rest of you guys!

Losing someone because of shifting the race nights would defeat the purpose of this altogether, so if there is a night that everyone can make then it would be a win-win situation!

...Do we need another poll? wink
