Agreed the second photograph isn't the best in composition terms but there were photographers everywhere so getting a shot at all was a challenge! the meaning behind the photo for me is enough as the story is truly heartbreaking.

Thanks 5Hero I will be the first to admit the second isn't how I wanted but like I said the shot was hard to get and I'd rather have got a shot like that then not one at all, as for me it was taking pictures to remember the day by

If you look at the large one on Flickr it is actually black and white but because of the glass reflection it does look slightly more coloured then the rest of the grass I don't see why there is so much dislike for the selective colouring haha!

True but I suppose most things have already been done so i'm just exploring what is most effective No offence taken it is just hard to decide which effect if any to use, I personally hate HDR photos if they are overdone! Could anybody suggest what may have worked better? like I said I'm looking for feedback to see what the majority finds good as well as my self
