The subject for August is "Vintage".

this could mean either a subject that is 'vintage', or a setting, or maybe even just the way an
image has been processed to give a 'vintage' feel....

Interpret in any way you like, but don't get caught out in the photo size as in the rules below.

Good luck everyone.

Rules
The photos taken must be your own work
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
Entries and discussion on this single thread please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo due to the PH squash factor. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Can the mods please make this a sticky? - many thanks

some great entries for this months comp...after some deliberation here are the results...

for 3rd place 'Royal Blue' - some great vintage vehicles and colours

Royal Blue by Graham, on Flickr

in 2nd place 'Antique Plate II - a wonderful landscape capture and great processing

Antique Plate II by Mike Smith, on Flickr

and the winner is...tuffer, with his untitled shot, but I really like this both for the composition and the monochrome processing..

So its over to tuffer for the September competition subject...
