First camera for 10-year-old

Actually it's not her first camera, she has a Lego one. It's a real camera! But rather tragic in the quality stakes.

Any suggestions for something reasonably fast but also moderately kid-friendly?

Yes, but immediate interest may wane as is the way with the youth. She likes photographing things for school projects and the like.
