Hi all
I currently find myself without a camera (other than iPhone)

Over the years, I've had mostly Canon EOS

(5d, 7d, 1d, etc, plus a few white lenses)

I don't have the same motivation I used to have for photography, and certainly don't have the time.

I'd like to get a camera system again, as I do miss it.

However, what with the new mirrorless cameras, I'm not sure which path to take.

I suppose the first question I need to answer is what do I shoot;
well, everything !
landscapes, motorsport, portraits... the list is endless really

How do the the current mirrorless cameras stack up against say my last DSLR camera - a 5dmk3 - ?

I know its very difficult to suggest a camera system, I'm just looking for first hand examples & experience
thanks

afternoon;
good debate on here !

I haven't had chance yet to try a mirrorless camera, but I will based upon the views presented here smile

I too have toddlers - twins;
so, response speed is key.
this is the one limitation I've found with the iphone x - there is just too much lag from pressing the 'shutter' to capture.

should be fun

well, I finally made a decision;

Weighing up all the pros / cons etc...

I went for a 5dmk4 + 24-105 lens

bought from Panamoz - price seems to be almost too good to be true, but the reviews on they back everything up.

I may pick up a light mirrorless camera later on...

yep, they were the 2 lenses I was planning adding when funds available.

Had both of them previously

I also had a nifty 50 - could never really see what al the hype was... maybe it was just me !
