April 2024 Photography Competition - home town

As my winning picture from last month was taken in my local park, I thought that "home town" would be a good theme. Hopefully it means that it is easier to get out to take a new shot for the challenge, but as always feel free to raid your archives.

The usual rules apply:

1. The photos taken must be your own work
2. The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
3. The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
4. Entries and discussion on a single thread, please.
5. All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
6. Winners should update the Competition Wiki (it's easy)
7. Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

I have just tried to DM Benzinaio to congratulate him on his win and nudge him to start a new thread for this month, but unfortunately he doesn't accept DMs, so if anyone knows him could you maybe give him a nudge please? I think we've got a few more days until we default back to whatever the topic was 10 years ago...
