Dash Knobs - How to remove??

Quick one,

My fog light knob is loose and keeps spinning, i thought about taking it off to maybe then seal it back on again... but it wont simply pull off for some reason... any ideas? I don't want to pull too hard in case there is a mysterious TVR way of holding it on that i dont know about... ;-)

I found (if you mean the rotary ones ) they push out from behind ! They are very tight, so pulling may just break them.
