Well, I was going to ask if anyone had one of these 50mm engine mount kicking around waiting to be fitted and could measure the diameter for me?

But, while looking for them on RallyDesign website I found these, only 35mm so might need a bit of packing, although if they don't sag they may not need to be a full 50mm? or these (but not recommended for road use).

Lot more money but if they don't keep sagging like the six quid ones they might be worth while?

It was this picture of a strenghening "sleeve" posted in this thread that started me looking and thinking.........scratchchin

Another option might be these Land Rover ones.

Engine mount diameter 228mm.

Well I found these and think they may fit, but at that price yikes
Very nice but , as you say, serious money !

Just wondering if the "not recommended for road use" Rallydesign ones would be too harsh (in a car that is already quite noisey, rattly, viabrates, shakes etc. etc. ?

I wouldn't touch anything from Britpart, they're most likely made from cheese, go for the genuine Land Rover items.
Cheers Al
I like cheese ! (but probably not the best stuff to make engine mounts from).

Had just picked that off Ebay as an example but thanks for the "heads up" on Britpart, I think Silverline make their drill bits from the same cheese wink
