What do we think to these?

Mine are looking very tatty and whilst they're off for tappet checking/adjustment...
Can't fathom out this link business, it works when I paste it in my address bar, search item 251283984764 on eBay.

Not really thought that far ahead yet Damian :roll eyes:
Looking at item 111489912800 (no clicky) I see what you mean, I would assume that a part advertised as 2.9 cologne rocker covers would fit without modification. Out of interest, does the 2.8 require the breather? Seller also advertises these and the picture is identical other than the text.
I wondered about clearance of the coil when I had a quick look.
I'd class it as education rather than negativity

Alternator mounting is a "TVR thing", I've no doubt they would go straight on a Sierra etc. Guess they don't drill a hole because some guys with "tuned" engines like to do away with the PCV valve and do there own thing with breathers.
Coil would be pretty easy to move if necessary. I think it would be better off on the bulkhead anyway, away from all the engine heat?
Judging from the Wellesbourne outing, coil relocation probably isn't a bad idea.Coil would be pretty easy to move if necessary. I think it would be better off on the bulkhead anyway, away from all the engine heat?
If it's just a case of drilling a hole then I could cope with that and I can't remember where but I've seen some kind of alternator relocation bracket somewhere recently, but then it's not just the cost of some nice shiny rocker covers
