Hi all, sorry if I've incorrectly started a new thread. I've also entered this on the petrol caps thread.
I am in the process of trying to get my girlfriends S3 back on the road after a period of about 9 years. It's a long and quite sad story that I will not bore you all with.
Long and short is I think (given the cost of unleaded) I would like to change the filler cap for a lockable one,in the original pattern? Did one get manufactured in China?
I will have other questions I sm sure but if anyone can help with this it is a start.
Also I am looking at getting some clutch slave cylinder mounting brackets made as mine was missing and I need one. Would anyone be interested? Not sure of price yet as I guess it will depend on volume.

Fair point and some thieves are just cutting fuel pipes or drilling tanks I would sooner make it a little harder, but the cost has to be right. My other worry is that things could be put into the tank which may do more damage than the cost of a cap.

Like the idea. I will have to look at what the bible says! Would like a locking one but if there isn't one, then that will be the option I guess I will have to take.
