I'm putting the S2 back together after a winter of chassis repainting. Can anyone advise where the Orange wire goes as I think it is part of the immobiliser wiring. Symptoms are that the fuel pump is not activating.

The immobiliser is the one where you put a pen type device into a round insert, possibly Gemini manufacture. I've searched for a wiring diagram without success.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hi Mike,

There are 3 wires in the engine bay which seem to come from a strange rubber boot with 2 fuses inside it. The 3 wires are red, black and orange. I'm fairly sure the red goes to the battery and the black to earth. Pease see attached images which may help, as you can see it has been altered by previous owners!

Many thanks

Nige

Update is that I disconnected the immobiliser and found there were the remains of a previous alarm system, part of which was the yellow wire!
The engine was running today and should be back on the road shortly. The pump issue was caused by a broken connection.
