Riggers

My S3 needs some work doing to the outriggers. I was planning to do a partial body lift to see full extent of damage before deciding what to do next however I've just come across an advert selling an S3 and in the blurb it states "riggers can be changed without the body off so quite easy if ever needed". Is this correct, if so how's it done, it could save me a load of work?

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go ahead with the lift at least then I can have a good look around and see if anything else is affected.
