New quickshifter in S3
Discussion
Dear all,
Just wanted to say that I just installed the Type N gearbox quickshifter arm from Kitchski (Richard) in my S3 and it is just brilliant.
I had an older kit from a UK firm installed but this is way better and makes driving fun again.
Very easy to install from the top side. Just remove the centre console and peel off the rubber cover. I had already made an opening in the glass fibre for the older install to get to the three bolts holding the shifter on the gearbox so it was all done in 30 minutes.
Highly recommended, just brilliant.
Kind regards
//Rob

Hi,
I did a narrow cut out in the fibre glass and after the swap i covered the entire area vit a piece of thin marine playwood held in place and sealed by some Gaffa tape. :-) I did keep the old pop rivets for the rubbet groomet and just used a screwdriver to drive the ruber back under the old washers.
