... goes to RayTVR's wife Alison, who today completed her solo walk from John O'Groats to Land’s End
She has walked just over 1100 miles in 11 weeks, in all weathers despite injuring her knee whilst scrambling over boulders on the shores of Loch Lomond quite early on in her trek, and sustaining many painful blisters, losing two stones in weight and five toenails.
Yes, ouch!!!
I thought she deserved some recognition for her efforts, so I commissioned this specially engraved trophy which I hope she will treasure:
Alison has raised a good amount for her chosen charities, which we also adopted for this year's S Club Heaven activities.
