Difference S2 / S3
Discussion
Hi guys,
thinking about purchasing an S2/3, there are some differences in the models (longer doors, lights in the frontbumper, dash etc) i know.
But what´s the difference below the body?
The engine / gearbox / axles / diff. should be the same.
I´ve heard about another suspension for a better ride.... whats the difference?
Any other things?
Thanks for your help
Reinhard

No idea on that one
If you like the dash layout and can cope with the short doors get an S2
Otherwise find an S3 ... this one knows its way around mainland Europe pretty well ............. clicky
Do you know (seen ) the car?

......and the C cars have:
a different ECU, to connect to:
a MAP sensor on the bulkhead rather than airflow sensors and:
HEGO sensors on the exhaust headers which have bosses to fit them.
Some also have the hydraulic-lifter engine, and taper-seat spark plugs.
What else have I forgotten?
How can I identify this?a different ECU, to connect to:

i´ve already looked on the continent for the adverts.
importing a car from uk is not a problem to me, as i did it before.
the choice in the uk not so big on the s-series as i thought.
i prefer the 2,9i engine as i think that it will be the more modern engine with a better flow and maybe easier to tune up
(to get real 180-190hp).
the longer door from s3/s4 is not the point as i own a tuscan v6 from ´71 and i know what a short door means....
