@mk1fan: Lots of maintainens work, 27 year old car that have not been much done to during the 15 years I owned it. Only fluids and brakes have been done regularly.
So now it´s:
- Shocks/springs, 27 years old
- Drive shafts, just got them loose a few min ago and the splines (?) are bad so new needed.
- Poly-bushes going in, old rubber 27 years old :P
- Clutch
- Oil sump, have a big dent in it...
- Gaskets and stuff
- Water pump needs to be replaced
- Rocker covers, got "new" power coated
- Reline the wires to the "Maffe-button" that I installed 10 years ago on a parkinglot in Poland :P
- Quickshifter going in smile
- Back screen, even thou Longers think it´s not needed. May in north Sweden will be not that hot!
- Brakes need an overhaul as well, might put bigger discs in have a set of Chim-discs on the self. Any one have a tutorial for converting the rear drums to disc? smile

Have most likely forgot something, Going to do a bigger service on the engine when it´s out of the car.

@GreenV8S: Yes it´s a singularity where I put all garbage, most likely it opens up in some garage in England wink

@yknot: Yep, central drainage, or a black hole...

@magpies: Thx! I will, even thou I have used bad words about people in Blackpool :P

@Longers: Totalt agree! Just ignore bad weather biggrin

Nice new suspension components well set up will make a huge difference.

Is the new spring softer than the original, or is that my imagination?
Just asked Derek ( Absolutely Shocks) and the Gaz Monotubes are 450/375 silicon steel smile

Looks like one side have been changed to a Volvo-part at some point since it´s a Ford on the other side?

Back at it again a week of work. My back is not that keen on this thou frown

The manifolds needed new gaskets and of course the bolt gave us problems

All bolts but one did come out, last one snapped. 8-9 drills later my father where able to make new thread in.

And Ian darn you for being right about "Its always some part that need to be replaced". Manifolds need to be replaced frown

Todays work done smile
Clutch bearing and outgoing axle ball bearing ( is it called that?) replaced.
"Maffe button" wiring replaced, the quick-fix I made 11 years ago on a parking lot in Poland with out any tools other then a scissors now nicly done.
New fuel lines ready to be put back in place.
Sparkplugs fitted and oil filter changed.

Lots of stuff not going to be ready in time, back screen will have to wait, Gaffa will save us from rain on the Eurotour... frown
Tomorrow the new clutch will be fitted and gearbox mounted back on engine.

TIme for a pint!
