Perhaps (DOH) I should have mentioned I am putting SE type arches on the car...

I asked about the standard arch because if I knew that, i know the SE arch is about 2" wider so kind of dictating the size I would be aiming for and yes that pic is pretty much the arch profile I have.

Although I believe that car has 'custom' made arches..the M series ran SE arches.

I have 25mm spacers on each side of my S3 the wheels they all line up perfectly with the edge of the wheel arch.

So 10" if you keep the inner edge where it is?

What are you plans for the front?

To be pondered !

Bigger wheels, more unsprung weight. Lower profiles, less compliance. Greater track, more load on lots of things,

Design engineering before bodging.
Don't care !

Plus..thinking about it the arches I will use are copies of the SE arches produced by TVR themselves , so they must have used there usual engineering finesse and expertise in their inception, design and production? (LOL)

Why do you want wider wheels?
To fill SE arches that are now bonded on the rear of my car..
