TVR S2 Differential
Discussion
Hello,
For several weeks, when running at the normal temperature, I heard a knoking while accelerating on my 1990 TVR S2.
I thougt this was coming from the universal joints of the driveshafts... But it was not. My differential is totaly dead. It lost all its oil, has 1 inch of play. When I removed the plug to add some oil (to drive the car home), there was some metal flakes on it...
I cannot find where doese this part come from. Doese any one here knows what diff is it and how to find one, or at least, it's parts?
Thanks you!

I've got a good used spare with about 65k miles on it.
I open mine Wednesday. If it is really dead, I think I'll be likely to replace it. PS: Mine was 65K too. But I presume something weird happened to it.Fun fact, In France, British cars have the reputation to be fragile, but for the moment, it is only the Ford parts that needs to be replaced...
