So, intitial thoughts from those who know the cars.

Do you reckon an inline 6 would fit under the bonnet?

None in particular Joe. I do have a Powers 4.0 S6 and T5 box sat in my gayridge. BUT a Jap turbo i6 barp barp barp motor wouldn't offend me.

That would be an option. I wonder why the AJP was discounted by spitfire above.

Another drawback maybe scarcity which clearly creates other issues.

A friend did consider the AJP when they were engine swapping their Wedge. I think it was discounted on the grounds that the 5.0 RV8 was significantly cheaper.

I've had long discussion with Mr Smith about 4-pot Ford engines.

For the S chassis as is I think a 2.4/2.5 Duratech 4-pot is certainly a great performance match. But the sound would not be 'right'.

That said it would be in keeping with TVRs history.

Loving the 3.5 RV8 in Wendy - although she's putting out 190bhp so I suspect that TVR may have done some work on her.

Having just watched a Youtube vid on the 6R4 how about chopping down an RV8 to be a V6 biglaugh
