Flash sale fuel pump Bosch 044

I know of a place here in Sweden selling the correct fuel pump for our beloved TVR S v6
Price 449 SEK, approx 40£...

That's cheap! Are you sure the V6 uses the Bosch 044 pump? The V8S uses a smaller pump as standard.

It was the one fitted when I got my s3c 16 years ago, but that’s not a guarantee that it’s “original” :P

Yep Mine and other V6s use the 044 pump

Is that a 'Bosch Motorsport 044' i.e. Bosch 0 580 254 044? That would seem massive overkill for a V6. My S2 used Bosch 0 580 254 911, and the V8s used 0 580 464 055, both physically quite a lot smaller and with much lower flow ratings than the 044.

I cant see why TVR would have fitted those. They are not cheap either.

Beware there are a lot of Chinese rip off Bosch pumps around.

Maffe, I think the rev-evend means that the Bosch 044 pumps are usually very expensive.
Your source is a bargain ( if it's the genuine article ).
