MoT fail due to side repeaters too red (despite passing for the last 5 years)!
It looks like these are not originals but access from the back seems tricky so I'd prefer to see if there are any orange lenses available since these are just clipped on from the front.
Anybody recognise the make/donor car? No markings on lens or body that I can find.

Thanks for the replies. If going with green bulbs works that’ll be an easy fix - they are amber at the moment.
TVR Spares are showing replacement amber side repeaters that are oval and push-in so should cover up the screw holes. However, this is likely to be tricky since I expect the connectors would be different and access to the back of the repeater has me stumped at the moment.

It’s an S3, H reg - I can’t see any access via the footwells and it seems the side walls are carpeted.

Undo that (mangled!) self-tapper and pull the fitting gently out.
I started to do that and you can see one missing screw - it sheared off @#£&* so I stopped to think at that point hence the question on just trying to change the clip-in lens option.

I could try and undo the other screw and pull it out but I found an old thread that said the cable was too short to do that somlooking for easier options.

Flapping? Me?

Oh alright then.

Doing the re-wiring on the 3000S was easy with the body off - I ain’t taking the body off the S3 to change a side repeater!
If I could see the back of the repeaters I wouldn’t hesitate to change them - and I do seem to make a habit of turning a 10 minute job into a weekend’s work or longer . . .

Yup - thanks everyone - especially Mike and Frank for shaming me into action. spin
Now that I can see that the cable is long enough all I have to do is figure out which mating connector to use.
The new repeaters are big enough to cover the old screw holes and just need a bit of ingenuity to fix them so they don’t pop out at the first speed bump.
