Fuel Tank Connection S1

Anyone got any photos of where their fuel line routes between the tank and the pump ? I'm not happy with where mine runs, it's crushed between the tank and the chassis but if I take it under the chassis it's too close to the exhaust. Was thinking of using copper to get through the tight gap in the frame and then connecting the rubber back up after that.

There's a surprise, mine is different !
My swirl pot at the bottom of the tank is different (square with smaller access hole) and the outlet is 90deg further round pointing towards the front of the car. Interestingly (or annoyingly) I don't have that small cut out in the tank where the pipe would naturally go through and that is why it is so tight.
To complicate things, I fitted a stainless system from Peninsula many years ago and it has the V8 type tail pipes which follow the diagonal line of the rear chassis. Right next to the fuel pipe !
What did you make the 90deg piece of pipe out of ? I was thinking of doing something similar and running it down the chassis leg until I'm clear of the exhaust?
