Right here goes, been dreading the stick im gonna get paperbag Nut and bolt rebuild of my 2.8 cologne engine on my S1. Put it back together, looks good, now the timing is out by 180 degrees. Back fired through the manifold eek.1, how did I manage to rebuild the engine and end up like it is now? 2, How do i fix it? is it as straight forward as lifting the dizzy off the oil pump shaft, rotating the rota arm back to the mark on the dizzy body and then replacing it. Back firing through the manifold was very disturbing, big bang, blue smoke and a weird smell laughbiglaughwobbleloser Yep, in my shorts!! Come on lads, cant wait for the reply.
