Hi all,
Looking at buying a 1990 S2, sat in it yesterday, the first S I have ever sat in, I’m 6ft and with the seat as far back as it would go there was plenty of room to in the footwell to have my legs fully stretched. Problem was the clutch and brake I couldn’t get my foot on without my knee / leg completely getting in the way of the steering wheel, to the extent that I would need to be a contortionist to drive it, if I had to brake quickly there is no way I would be able to, I could just about change gear but very uncomfortable. Strangely the throttle pedal wasn’t too bad. Has anyone ever come across this issue? I wondered if perhaps the pedals have been adapted at all, couldn’t see any sign of this but would be interested to hear other S owners opinions, thanks.

The guy who is selling it is shorter, I had no idea there were different pedal configurations so I’m further forward than I was a few hours ago. As has been said there are taller guys than me that drive a “S” so it’s more about how I go about changing the pedals on the one I want to buy.
