Gents, got a few jobs planned in on the S2 i purchased a couple of months back, any tips / things to avoid would be great. I'm no expert in this field but will always give something a go.

Oil & filter change - Looks like im gonna go with Valvoline VR1 20-50. Was gonna get 2 x 5l's, assume this will be enough? Again i dont really have a clue! . Is the filter tricky to remove? Anything else to be aware of?

Bonnet adjustment - On the drive home I realised the swirl pot cap was fouling on the bonnet (prev owner had just installed a new SP), I need to raise the bonnet say 1cm at the front, assume just need a mate to help whilst i loosen the brackets on each side and lift to an acceptable position?

Thanks for that ! Looks like its fitted ok though??, the prev owner also had the bonnet off for a while so may be due to that?
