Corrado mirrors
Discussion
They work on the bench, just the little matter of fitting them !
Found a wiring diagram "somewhere" while search around old PH posts, pretty sure it was courtesy of Steve @ Southways
unlike the "rubber band" mirrors used on later S's and Griffs/Chims these use a single motor and a clutch to acheive movement in two planes, no relay required.
I believe the heating elements on normal cars are switched with the heated rear screen? Guess just an ignition live would do, no harm having them on constant?

Oh, and I had a hell of a game with the wiring because the Corrados have 5 wires and the Citroen mirrors 4 wires.
These ones only have four if you ignore heating elements, all wired up and working (on the bench) following the wiring diagram posted on this thread by Steve DQBee said:
Fibreon sell adaptors for the Chimaera.
saw those on the same thread but I don't currently have "Chimaera" mirrors Edited by phillpot on Monday 11th February 09:57
