Does the S2 usually suffer from excessive travel in the brake pedal? Maybe servo unit?

Pads checked and OK, stale fluid maybe a shout as car was stored for a long time prior to purchase by me.

Yes there were signs of fluid from master cylinder! Guess that’s the culprit !?

I know not connected but also did notice today that slave cylinder for clutch badly corroded.

Best place to purchase replacement? Looked on Racetech as option

Bottom of Servo is rusted, I think replacement servo and clutch cylinder is inevitable reading posts.

Is there reconditioned options for sale anywhere? (Have noted land rover angle)

Ended up purchasing both through TVR parts - price is good if you are TVR CC member as you get a good discount

I initially bought a master cylinder off eBay and ended up it didn’t fit despite claims it was correct part. I was probably unlucky and there is plenty of MC for S Series on eBay.

Yeah my Servo looked ok from top, but wasn’t until I realised I had major travel in the brake pedal I investigated further ........
