Retro fitting Inner Wheel Arches
Discussion
Hi
I have a 1989 S1.5 (i.e. 2.9 engine but missing the inner wheel arches from the S2 along with some other options). Has anyone out there tried retro fitting the inner wheel arches to an S?
I'd like to have them as I think it will protect the underneath of the bonnet from stone chips etc but they are £80 a side from TVR so before I go and order them it would be nice to know whether they will actually fit and if so how hard they are to attach.
Thanks
Colin

I think it's the one that is attached to the bonnet, although I'm not sure if the fixed ones I have is the same as the later ones either. There is an arch attached to the tub but judging from the descrption in the bible it doesn't extend down as far as the later ones, because it doesn't protect the front chassis rails.
LeeBee - would you be interested in selling them?
Sounds like as long as the V8s bonnet is not that different from the S2/3 it should be possible to retro fit. Just need to work out the fixings, methinks a close look at an S2/3 is called for.
Better take a my camera and a torch tonight!
Thanks everyone
