Thanks to those who helped me with my Fuel pump and relay problems (especially regarding the different priming & non-priming relay situation). However I thought that I would check the other fuel related items and found a drowned Kalt start (Green) relay which has rusted to buggery. Could anyone tell me if this would explain my lack of cold start fast idle, or my hot starting overfuelling problems. What does it control and does it mean that the cold start injector has been running continuously even when hot, as I belive that the relay is a timer device. Much obliged to you all for any info.

Dear Gadgit,

Am I right in thinking that the thermotime switch controls the auxillary air device? If so, this is working as you can hear the air flow which gradually diminishes as things warm up. Does the Green Kaltstart Relay only control the cold start injector for a limited time period? P.S Relays are bloody expensive(Green one was £35.00, Fuel pump one £25.00 plus a spare from another supplier @ £15.00!)

Cheers CRAIG
