I'm just about to have both my front seats re-diaphrammed (sp), a new seat fob and foam etc for the drivers seat, new floor mats made to fit and a gearstick gaiter for a couple of hundred squid. Not bad I thought. My seat are Alhambra rather leather.

Unfortunately it won't be done in time for the 18th, so it'll still look awful shabby !!

My roof needs replacing and I'd like to treplace it with a mohair one as it is at the moment, in blue to get it back to how it left the factory (currently black :-(.

I was quoted £700 last night to do the whole roof. I was under the impression I could get this for at least a couple of hundred quid less, but are these mohair or not ??

The guy who's doing the work on the seats and who quoted for the roof is the very pleasant gentleman who does all of WLA's retrimming and is acknowledged as being very very good. I'm reassured by the quality of work I have seen him do and the fabric he showed my last night would look stunning on the car, but.....£700 !!

Recommendations on a cheque please ....

Cheers

Birchy,

That's what I thought. But when I invetigated I couldn't find confirmation of whether they were mohair or not.

I'll investigate further I think !

Pdavison,

"Just the back part", meaning we'll have our roof's off (which I sincerely hope) or that it cost you £310 for the rear section. Inwhich case the whole lot would equate to around £700 !

It's late in the day for me now !! ;-)

Cheers
