A clumsy oaf (namely me ) has knocked off the rear view mirror on my S3! I have tried super glue (my usual fix all solution) but it doesn’t work! Halfords sold me a double-sided sticky pad, which detaches itself . Any ideas on the best type of glue or other method would be appreciated.

Thanks Dave and Paul,

I'll take a look at the cell phone stuff but I think it will be like the stuff halfords sold me. Where I work we have a fleet of over 1000 cars (No TVR's ), Autoglass sort out any damaged windscreens, so I'll have a chat to the chap from there next time they sort out a windscreen might even get them to sort it out for me!

How much did the new windsield cost Dave and did they do a good job? Must get together for a spin sometime, drop me an email, whatever you do don't sell the car! or else...

Thanks for the info Johno, I will bear it in mind but think I'll go with Autoglass. I must have been typing this when you posted!

Extream Delight!
My mirror is now attached to the windscreen, as it should be. Thanks for the help guys. Johno came up with the winning tip. I found some Rear View Mirror Bonder, made by Loctite. Basically a bit of gauze/membrane which you cover with the glue supplied and Bob's Your Uncle!

Thanks for the help again.
