thanks all. it is the surrounding area that is the option, NOT Kidderminster itself

Bewdley is also on the list now

any of the other surrounding bits worth a look?

If this helps...... I was born in Kiddy and lived on Marlpool for a while. I went to school in Marlpool, Franche and Wolverley, although by then I was living in Bridgnorth. I now live on the Redditch/Studley border.

Kiddy town is like ANY other town centre: 50/50 between the OK and the not-so-nice. There are lots of nice villages around Kiddy (Cookley, Caunsall, Wolverley, Fairfield, Stone, Trimpley, Chadesley as well as all the others mentioned above), so there's plenty of choice. To be honest, tho', Wolverly is very busy with school kids, so I wouldn't go for it personally.

Presumably you're moving there to be near a workplace?? If so, where is it, that may help with the choices.
thank you

The info is not for me, A member of my family is moving there within the next month or two (as soon as they find a area, school and house they like)

the job is based just on the west side of Kidderminster so they are looking at 10mile radius (slightly further if needed to find a decent school), at the moment they are busy on the Ofsted site and good school guide
