For the first time ever, I've spotted a talivan on the Portway near the Westbury-on-Trym turn off. They've been there 2 days running at around 5pm so be careful out there!

guess that'll stop those accidents

They're there again today! That's 3 days in a row. They keep moving too so I'd stick to the limit along there people

Alas I have to use it twice every day to get to/from work. Used to be a great blat but I guess the accident along there recently has made the "safety" partnership save the kiddies by sitting talivans along there

Always remember my old man telling me the Portway was a speed trap - back from the 70's at least. The police used to use the old layby at the bottom of the main rock climbing area iirc.

That's the one they were using yesterday. They park there and point away from the bridge zapping cars from the rear. You can't see them as the traffic queue (from the lights under the bridge caused by the bus lane) hides the van (which is impossible to spot from the front anyways).

Wonder where they'll hide today? No mention on their website of any of this either
