Recommendations around Plymouth?

Hi PH!
I've never been in this corner of the forum before so go easy
I'm down in Plymouth for the next 3 weeks with work so have some evenings and weekends to fill. I've got a car am happy to drive about to see / do stuff worth doing.
Are there any 'must do' bits around here? I'm off to the Barbican area on Saturday for a pint and am open to suggestions!

Well, I should imagine a nice drive on Dartmoor? Although the 40mph limit over the whole thing can take the edge off a fun drive.
South Hams probably similar amounts of driving potential but at least a lot at NSL.
Non driving things I am not sure about, but if you're in the centre, you might be well satisfied with the large number of drinking establishments there.
